The polishers and finishers at Sunny Designs are skilled in creating consistent finishes across all collections. However, the individual nature of the materials used in the construction of our furniture means that no two pieces of furniture are exactly alike. Similarly, the images in this publication are as accurate as possible, but please know that colors and finishes may vary according to the unique nature of each item.

Sunny Designs craftsman uses a variety of effects to achieve a look or style when applying finish to our furnishings...Whether rough-sawn, nail marks, wormholes, glazing, varnish, or other. Please note: The Finish Codes used by Sunny Designs is a guide and should not be used to determine the specific materials used in a piece of furniture’s exact construction.

For day-to-day cleaning, a soft dry cloth will suffice to remove dust and restore the sheen of your furniture. Additionally, we recommend an occasional application of pure beeswax to help retain the character of the wood. Simply apply the wax to the surface, allow some time for it to harden, and then rub away the excess with a soft cloth. For items with a raw-sawn finish that have a more intricate surface, you may just want to keep it dust-free.(See fig1)

Sunny Designs furniture is mainly made from Solids and veneers. Please restrain yourself from using any kind of product that contains, chloride, ammonia, alcohol, or any other harch additive. These chemicals can remove the protective layers and finish dies, as well as harm and stain the finish of your furniture. In addition, we recommend not leave the surface wet for long periods. We recommend keeping the surface clean and dry that you may enjoy the natural beauty of your furniture for many years to come. .(See fig2)

Our Sunny Designs Antique Charcoal finish is found in most our traditional and contemporary furniture designs. We use plantation grown mahogany and quality hardware to accentuate not only the beauty of the wood but also the aesthetics of the finish product as a whole.

From the moment that we unload by hand fresh milled wood in our Indonesian factories to the moment we ship our packaged goods. We work consistently and diligently through out every process to deliver a quality product.

The Alpine Grey finish is a modern and refreshing finish we use as a single or combined finish. This finish looks awesome in solid mahogany and veneers with directional arrays of rough-sawn effects.

Our Sunny Designs Black natural finish; is the result of the contrast of the two die hues; the black sections project a robust and steady feeling trough out the piece, while the natural sections reflect the character of the wood grain. We call this the perfect harmony and valance.

This can only be achieved with the gorgeous character and smooth surface of Mindi Lumber. This wood comes from plantation-grown trees that grow to adulthood for 25 years, by this time they have the mature height of 50 feet and are ready to be harvested.

The Black Sand finish is one of our most popular Marina Collection finishes. This finish is bold, pleasant, and composed of various layers and effects that simulate aging and rough-sawn effects.

The Beach Pebble finish is one of our most popular Marina Collection finishes. This finish is soft, pleasant, and resembles the beach pebble's colors. Various layers and effects are applied to simulate aging and the rough-sawn effects that gives a wonderful character to this finish.

The Charred Oak is one of the most eye-catching and popular finishes of our furnishings. The distinctive raw sawn distress and wood grain occasional distinctiveness trough out the pieces makes it somehow look good in almost everything.

This particular finish favors the use of Plantation grown mahogany solids and veneers, a simple design, and rustic or industrial hardware to bring up its strength.

When the Dark Chocolate finish is lightly distressed it becomes an enriched traditional color that goes with almost any decor. In contrast, when the Dark Chocolate finish has an applied rough sawn distressed, it becomes a finish that looks amazing in contemporary items.

We use Indonesian mahogany lumber to create our furniture. The saddle browns, reds, and darks, Create a remarkable finish that is bold and noticeable. This finish goes well with slate accents and rustic finish hardware.

The Desert Rock finish has a characteristic that sets it apart from other finishes...It depicts a fresh creamy look full of value and character. We use mahogany lumber and apply a rough sawn effect to its surface to create a consistent signature look.

The European Cottage finish is a two tones combination that depicts light and dark contrast with dusty wax planked tops. This finish is soft and has a unique charm. We use Mindi lumber to accentuate its beauty in our Carriage House Collection.

From Indonesian Mahogany that was cured for over six months, the Littler Boy Blue is an excellent finish for youth furniture with a contemporary style. We apply a rough sawn to its surface, creating a saddle effect that adds value and character.

The Marble White finish is a clean finish with a soft surface and edge effects. We use mahogany lumber in the manufacture of its finished products. By doing so, we create contrast and character in these pieces.

The Nature Walk finish is a bold blend that shows the natural beauty of wood and the soft gloss of its protected surface. Its contrast and beauty it is an excellent choice for all who love wood and its natural beauty.

The Raisin finish is a striking finish with a raw sawn effect that adds character and style to our furniture. We use cured mahogany wood from our Indonesian kilns.

The Rustic Acacia finish is a bold finish with a rough sawn effect. We use Acacia wood and in addition to solids veneers as well.

The Sea Grass finish is one of our most popular Marina Collection finishes. This relaxingly pleasant finish was inspired by the soft underwater motion of marine plants.

The Tobacco Leaf & Alpine Grey finish was created as a two-tone combination of both, bold and modern looks. The Tobacco Leaf and Alpine Grey finish are an excellent choice for contemporary and modern furnishings. This finish character and look makes it perfect for almost any decor and style.

The Weathered Brown finish is a visually mellow and pleasant finish with a variety of tones that softly show from under its raw sawn distress. This finish is suited for all kinds of design styles of furniture. We use plantation-grown Mindi wood from our Indonesian kilns.

The Westwood Village is a tone-on-tone finish with Flyspecking and burnish effect that gives the finish dimension and depth. This is an elegant finish soft and pleasant. We use mahogany wood from our Indonesian kilns.
